Gentle Power: Meeting Your Anger, Hearing Theirs

Are you finding that your anger sometimes hinders you from being truly heard, leaving you feeling distanced from the people you most want to connect with or unheard for the issues that are really important to you?

Or maybe you notice that others’ anger triggers reactions in you that make resolution difficult, impacting your willingness to entertain them and straining your relationships?

Here’s what you can look forward to learning in this training:

• Discover the range of feeling and needs that underlie your anger and get to the heart of what is important to you

• Learn how to express what is most important to you in ways that have more chance of being received

• Learn to hear and respond to others’ anger from a place of empathy and compassion instead of reaction

• Gain insights into how our nervous systems impact our reaction, and learn how to work with this awareness to foster understanding

• Find compassion for ourselves and others for all the times that anger has impacted our outcomes

Pre-requisite:

Please ensure you have completed a Level 1, NVC Foundation Training before attending this session.

Proposed Fee Range:

Individual rates (If you are paying for the training from your own pocket)

• £130: If you earn less than £25k before tax

• £165: If you earn £25k - £45k before tax

• £220: If you earn more than £45k before tax

Organisation rates - (If your employer is paying for your place on the training)

• £175: Small Charity rate (fewer than 15 employees)

• £210: Public sector / Large Charity rate (NHS, local Council, large charity, Education)

• £270: Private sector rate: (If you work for a profit-making company)

I ask you to consider your and my needs for sustainability when you choose what you pay.  If cost is a barrier to participating, I am committed to talking through options with you.

Cancellation Policy:

If you cancel up to 1 week before the start date I am willing to refund your contribution less £10 admin fee, or transfer your booking to a future training.  If you cancel your booking less than 1 week before the start date I am happy to  transfer your booking to a future training.
